With 27 years experience as a dog handler with the police force, I was often on the frontline when it came to dealing with people under the influence of drugs and alcohol. I saw the devastation that it caused and hope to help prevent this through education, testing and awareness in the community.

What is your opinion of the housing market?
People are now being forced into renting rather than home ownership. The problem with this is the fact that you have no idea who has rented the property before you, or what they did in that house. Sadly some landlords care more about their income than the safety of their tenants and won’t get their properties checked for contamination. I want to help keep people safe from the effects of drugs, and help landlords to understand the benefits of testing their properties.

I want to help to develop an awareness of issues surrounding the use of drugs in the home and workplace. By testing and educating community members, Home and Work Drug Detection can help to provide a safer environment for people to work and live in.
